We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js to join our dynamic blockchain development team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, a solid mathematical background, and a deep understanding of blockchain technologies. You will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance, scalable backend systems that power our blockchain technology.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using TypeScript and JS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features and improvements.
- Analyze complex problems and propose data-driven solutions with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Utilize your mathematical background to contribute to algorithm design and optimization efforts.
- Implement and manage PostgreSQL databases, ensuring optimal data storage and retrieval.
- Leverage knowledge of blockchain technologies to enhance the functionality and security of our systems.
- Promote best practices in coding, design, and testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in backend development, preferably with TypeScript and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with blockchain technologies and concepts is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, and teamwork abilities.
- Effective communication in English is a MUST.
