Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager who will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading projects from ideation through to completion. The IT project manager will manage key Startup projects and work directly with clients, stakeholders, and investors to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He/She will develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of products
- Ensure that all tasks are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the clients and relevant stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Delegate project tasks based on staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
- Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers
- Proven 3+ years of working experience in project management in IT
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Experience with project management software tools
- Hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
